“International Legal Alliance”
Zaporozhye regional public organization “International Legal Alliance” is an NGO, which operates as a nonprofit organization and was formed to protect creative, spiritual, economic, social and constitutional rights and interests of its members, their legal education and to provide legal information.
Zaporozhye regional public organization “International Legal Alliance” was created by four legal professionals: Pavel Anatolyevich Skrypka, Alexey Leonidovich Oleshko, Eduard Anatolyevich Shershnyov, Aleksandr Viktorovich Pshets.
The founders of the Zaporozhye regional public organization “International Legal Alliance” have the professional experience including experience in social (charity) activities.
For many years E.A.Shershnyov has been combining advocacy with provision of free legal assistance to those who need it. His inclination to teamwork marked the beginning of the “Arbitr” Legal Union” Association.
From 2003 to 2005, A.V. Pshets was the founder and chairman of the youth organization “Zaporozhye Anti-Corruption Committee”, which, in turn, is the founder of the “Isteblishment” newspaper, and since early 2007 Alexander is the founder and board member of the Zaporozhye regional public organization “Zaporozhye Native Land”, which is constantly acting in the interests of the inhabitants of his native city, using the skills of a lawyer and attorney, has extensive connections with major television networks of Zaporozhye and periodic popular publications.
A.L.Oleshko and P.A.Skrypka successfully use the skills of lawyers and attorneys, acquired during the professional activity at the leading legal firms in Zaporozhye, during implementation of many social projects. In particular, in 2000 A.L.Oleshko established, and P.A.Skrypka later headed one of those activities – NGO “Zaporozhye Human Rights League “Universal”, together with other lawyers to provide legal practice for law students in the provision of free legal aid to vulnerable categories of population. During 2000-2001 NGO “Zaporozhye Human Rights League “Universal”, with the support of the “Dosye” newspaper were actively working to provide free legal aid to vulnerable categories of population in Zaporozhye. During this time about 500 people were consulted and given legal aid. During 2001-2002 the members of the organization graduated from universities of law and during 2002 to 2004 the NGO “Zaporozhye Human Rights League “Universal” worked as a law clinic at the Faculty of Law at Zaporozhye State University. The activity of law clinic was aimed at providing free legal aid to vulnerable categories of people of Zaporozhye as well as assisting students in getting legal practice.
Currently A.L.Oleshko and P.A.Skrypka take the lead in creating a more successful social project – Zaporozhye regional public organization “International Legal Alliance” and they have all the prerequisites for that: experienced and qualified legal practitioners, established contacts with other NGOs, law firms and public authorities, as well as substantial material and technical foundation.
Zaporozhye regional public organization “International Legal Alliance”, in addition, is the result the result of a combination of capacities of three leading legal firms: law center “Femida” (Themis”), legal firm “Krepost Prava” (Fortress of Law) and legal firm “Oleshko & Skrypka”. To date, it is a clearly tried-and-true system of work organization of specialists from three legal enterprises, interaction with public authorities, the ability to attract additional resources and much more. It is possible to resolve the widest range of issues through the work of well-coordinated team of multidisciplinary attorneys and lawyers, court-appointed managers and experts, PR and NGO specialists, with everything needed to resolve virtually any tasks. In its work the organization combines respect for the best traditions of the world and national law and remains the most social-oriented legal project.
